At Dood Ranch Doodles, we raise a small number (as in 1 or 2) of carefully planned litters each year with a focus on health, temperament, and family companionship.

Our goal isn’t to produce as many puppies as possible.
It’s to thoughtfully combine health testing, genetic screening, and years of owner feedback to produce low-shedding, allergy-friendly Goldendoodles that thrive in family homes.

Many of our families come to us because someone in the household struggles with allergies or because they want a dog that sheds very little. We send the majority of our puppies to their forever homes in

We offer our own Doodle Bus transportation and meet families in Central PA to cut down on their travel time when its time to fetch their pup!
Our Approach
A Small Breeding Program With Big Priorities
Dood Ranch Doodles is intentionally a small, home-based breeding program.
That allows us to:
• carefully select parent dogs based on health and temperament
• raise puppies in a home environment
• stay connected with the families who adopt our dogs
One of the most valuable tools we have is something simple: feedback from the families who live with our dogs every day.
Combined with our knowledge of coat genetics, client surveys, and our very active owners' group on FB has helped us better understand which pairings consistently produce puppies that are:
• low-shedding
• allergy-friendly
• easy to live with
• wonderful family companions

Puppies Raised For Family Life
Our puppies are raised in a home environment and receive daily interaction and early socialization. Our owners get to see live video of their puppies every single day that they're with us on the Dood Ranch.

Dood Ranch Doodles is located in Meadville, Pennsylvania, and many of our families come from Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, New Jersey, and the surrounding region.

Most of our non-local families take advantage of our Doodle Bus service--we personally transport a group of pups from a litter heading to locations east of us and meet families in central PA.
